2025 Camp Season Applications

All applications can be downloaded and submitted to the Byron Heritage Church Office or through EMAIL.
Some helpful tips for registration:
Registration fills up quickly. We register on a per-week basis, and some weeks fill up more quickly than others. Once you have had time to look over those dates be sure to register for any weeks you would like to attend as they may not be available later into the spring.
The cost of attendance has not changed for campers from last summer. The cost of Camp is $160/wk, $60 of that due up front for each week registered, and $140/wk ($40/wk due up front) for each additional camper. All registration fees must be paid before your child is considered registered for Camp.
Our Church Office has moved to 207 Church Street in Byron. Registration and payment can still be done in person at our new offices, but we are currently without an off-hours drop box. Please be reminded that our office hours are 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Monday through Thursday. Our Church Office phone number remains the same, 478.956.5717.
Best practice would be to send applications via email and we will get in touch as soon as it can be processed.
We process all applications in the order they are received. We acknowledge that with the delay there may be some difficulty in those first few days reaching someone on the phone on a first phone call. As such, it is our recommendation that you send your application via email or drop it off in person and we will get in touch as soon as possible to receive all necessary registration payment.
All balances from previous years attendance must be paid before any new registration. If you have a carryover balance we ask that you make payment of the amount before we accept any registration for this coming summer. All balance information was sent out as tax statements in January, but if you are concerned about any balance please feel free to ask whenever you are sending in this year's paperwork.
Space in the C.I.T Program is limited. We offer a Counselor-In-Training Program to those 14-15, or whenever they are entering into the 9th Grade. However, space in that program is strictly limited. Additional information will be included in the 2025 C.I.T Application, which will be available alongside camper registration paperwork.

Note also that a $60 Registration Fee is required for every week registered for for each child; that fee is applied to your remaining Camp Fee balance.
We strongly recommend submitting your completed application via email and allowing us to get in touch for payment once your application has been processed. We process all applications in the order they are recieved.

Space for the summer is limited, so we encouraged all interested parents and C.I.Ts to apply soon!
The Counselor-In-Training Program is designed to give students who are between 14 and 15 years of age, and entering the 9th grade an opportunity to learn what it takes to serve on Camp Staff.
Space in the C.I.T group is limited, so be sure to apply early.

When does Camp Vinson Valley operate? What are the hours?
Our Camp season begins the first week of June and runs through the last week of July, a total of (9) weeks. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00am until 6:00pm. Our Camp program runs from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Times before and after that programming, Pre and Post Camp respectively, are offered for working parents free of charge!

Does my child have to come all summer?
No! We have plenty of campers that attend only one week of Camp over the summer, and we program in such a way that even one week can be a full Camp experience. However, we do love our campers who are with us the majority of the summer. Regardless, whether its one week or nine, we are sure that your child will build relationships that last a lifetime!

Can my child come for just one day on a "drop-in" basis?
Unfortunately we do not offer a discounted "drop-in" option for registration. All registration is done on a full-week basis; a full week's Camp Fee is required for each week registered regardless of attendance. All cancellations must be made prior to the Tuesday of that specific week or else a full Camp Fee will be charged.

How much does it cost?
$160 per week, per camper. $60 registration fee is due at the time of registration, and is deducted from total camp fee.
Our Session Fee is determined by a weekly rate, and is not prorated for daily attendance or adjusted based upon specific daily attendance.
